Razor Blades Found In North Carolina Gas Pump Handles
Police officers in Forest City, North Carolina are warning people of serious danger. Razor blades were found in gas pump handles at multiple locations in the area. The Department of Agriculture found the first razors during a routine inspection. That prompted a search for other pumps and stations.
According to WSOC-TV, rusty razors were found at the BP on South Broadway Street and at the Shell station at the 74 Junction,
The Forest City Police Department said, “the blades were also found at several other gas stations in Rutherford County. We are actively investigating these instances now in cooperation with the state Department of Agriculture. We will follow up with more information when available.
They continued, “in the meantime, please be aware of your surroundings while pumping gas, and always check before grabbing the gas pump handle.”
