NFL Legend Opening New Restaurant In Charlotte, North Carolina

A new restaurant will soon be offering delicious Americana food in Charlotte. According to Charlotte Axios, NFL legend Mike Ditka’s restaurant group is behind the project. The new eatery will be called Catalina Kitchen and Bar.

They are going to be serving up an American fare menu. Also will have a hardy wine list and local beers. It will be over 5,000 square feet with indoor seating and outdoor. Seating for over 150 is expected, and the new spot will offer just dinner to start. They will eventually be serving up lunch and dinner.

Catalina Kitchen and Bar is under construction in the Elizabeth neighborhood. One of Charlotte’s more historic areas. And if Mike Ditka has anything to do with the menu, I am sure you will get a hearty meal!

I am more than a little embarrassed to admit this, but I used to think Buffalo wings were named after the animal. You, of course, know, Buffalo wings originated in Buffalo, New York.  Here are the five best spots for chicken wings in South Carolina.
