If you have ever been to Atlanta chances are you have already been introduced to this very popular cheesesteak restaurant. It is called Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks. This well loved Atlanta based cheesesteak restaurant is coming to North Carolina.
The owner says he is planning to open a new shop in Charlotte’s University City area later this year. It is quite an honor. This will be the restaurants first out of state location. CEO and Founder Derrick Hayes says in a press release and reported by Channel 9, “It’s a really big step for us to expand outside of Georgia for the first time, Charlotte is booming right now, and we’re excited and honored that Big Dave’s gets to be a part of the community.” Hey! Welcome to the Queen City guys.
Big Dave’s is coming to the Town Center Plaza at 8548 University City Blvd in Charlotte. We can expect an opening this winter. The menu looks amazing and they will be open for lunch and dinner, dine in or carry out. And if you can’t get out to the University City Area, Big Dave’s plans to utilize a food truck to get around town. There will be a variety of cheesesteaks featuring beef, chicken and even salmon.
