3 People Rescued From A Sinking Boat Off The South Carolina Coast

The United States Coast guard to the rescue in South Carolina. They rescued 3 people from a sinking tug boat in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Early afternoon on Wednesday the Coast Guard sent word that the 59 foot boat eventually sank about three miles off the coast. Channel 9 says no one was injured. The boat reportedly had 5,000 gallons of fuel on board.
As of Thursday morning The Coast Guard says there have been no reports of impact on the shoreline. They are still working to retrieve the wreckage of the tug boat. 3 people were rescued from a sinking tug boat off the South Carolina coast. All three are crew members.
So how many boat accidents occur off the South Carolina coast? According to the United States Coast Guard there were 688 recreational boat wrecks in Myrtle Beach from 2011 to 2016. 3 people were rescued this week from a sinking boat off the South Carolina coast.

Metrics used to determine the most picturesque included search trends, popularity with photographers, and popularity for photography with the general public. And I know what you’re thinking. If this was commissioned by North Carolina travel experts they were probably biased. Right? Wrong. South Carolina actually had 6 towns included in the 120. And while North Carolina did as well, the SC ones ranked significantly higher.
One South Carolina town ranked number 6, another 11th, and a third 23rd. The highest ranking NC town? It was 50th. So no bias here! Towns in both Carolinas are spread between all areas of the states. So whether you are looking for a quiet spot for a weekend getaway, a weeklong vacation, or a place to relocate you’ll want to read this list.
