I drove by this house as it was being built and could not believe my eyes. It’s fair to use words like humongous, grand, beautiful and it will cost you a pretty penny if you would like to purchase it. At $7 million it’s the most expensive listing ever for this North Carolina town.
Not only is this mansion the most expensive listing in Gastonia or Gaston County for that matter, but it’s also the most expensive by almost double. Fox 8 has this quote from Jessica Grier, with Premiere Southeby’s International Realty, “I feel like this is obviously not the Queen City, but it is the crown jewel of Gaston County”.
Before you take a peek at the pictures, here are a few facts about this place on Beaty Road in Gastonia. It boasts 7,332 square feet. It has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half baths. Fox 8 goes on to report, “The appliance package in here is my absolute dream,” Grier said. “You have a 60-inch thermidor range, full double ovens, which is something that you don’t see every day.”
I thought the property this house sits on looks massive and it is. There is an outdoor pool and pavilion and sits on 55 acres. Something else I have been curious about is who owns this property. Nobody we would have heard of according to the television station. At 7 million dollars it’s the most expensive listing ever for this North Carolina town.
I will be keeping an eye on this. Again, it is a location I drive by quite frequently. It looks a little out of place. There is nothing even close to this house that in any way compares. It is in a rather ordinary-looking housing area. But it IS spectacular. Whoever gets to live there will certainly live happily ever after.
