Charlotte Motor Speedway Goes Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness
Charlotte Motor Speedway is going pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The track will host its annual Paint the Pit Wall Pink event today.
Every day, more than 700 women in the U.S. are diagnosed with breast cancer, according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Doing its part to raise awareness, Charlotte Motor Speedway’s pit wall will be pink for the October 7 Drive for the Cure 250 presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.
2004 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kurt Busch will be on hand for today’s event, along with other drivers and dignitaries.
