As many times as we visit the Myrtle Beach area, for some reason we never tried this spot. But, now World Of Beer North Myrtle Beach is closed for good. And, we won't get that chance.
How World Of Beer North Myrtle Beach Announced Closure
According to WPDE, the World Of Beer North Myrtle Beach location at 1386 Highway 17 North is no more. It seems they made the announcement on Instagram saying they "made the difficult decision to close."
Furthermore, the post from World Of Beer North Myrtle Beach thanked the community and their regular, loyal customers for making the location special. And, as of Tuesday this week the location closed.
As far as I could find at this time, no specific reason was given for the sudden closure of World Of Beer North Myrtle Beach.

But, as far as the history of the location, the national chain opened at the North Myrtle Beach spot in July 2020. And, they served about 300 various kinds of beer from around the world.
Plus, the spot also offered bar foods to accompany their large selection of beers.
World Of Beer has locations all over the country, including Fayetteville and Greensboro, North Carolina, Augusta, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Texas and more.
And, at one point there was even a location in Charlotte. However, that spot's website says 'temporarily closed.'
The chain started in 2007 when, according to their website, a couple of best friends in Florida came up with the idea. And, it grew from a craft beers bottle shop to what it is today.
For those of you who are familiar with the North Myrtle Beach area, you'll probably remember passing the World Of Beer location there.
It's US 17 N across the highway from Boardwalk Billy's and Local On The Water. Those are two spots we love to go hang out frequently on visits.

So, it's a great location. We'll keep our eyes on what might replace World Of Beer North Myrtle Beach in the future.

Raleigh, North Carolina
We're making another stop in North Carolina. This time we're heading to Raleigh, North Carolina. Raleigh is up there when it comes to having a lot of breweries per capita. The area is home to plenty of options from breweries with a beer garden and live music or local dive bars. With spots to enjoy like Clouds Brewing or Compass Rose Brewery that can allow you plenty of beers to enjoy and sip on while you're visiting.
