I’ve come to find out that I am weird in a number of ways.  And I accept that.  One of the big ones, apparently, is when it comes to movie trailers.

Everyone I know complains about how many are show before movies and how long they take.  Honestly, I can watch them all day.

There’s at least two different “trailer” shows on TV right now, and I’ll sit through all thirty minutes every time.  I LOVE trailers.

This one just came out for a science fiction movie starring Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Liv Tyler, and Donald Sutherland this September.  This is “AD ASTRA.”

The official synopsis is this:  “Astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.”

Charlie Nance is the Afternoon Drive co-host (along with his wife) of "The Charlie and Debbie Show" at WSOC, Country 1037 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The couple have been with the radio station since 2006. Charlie has won the prestigious CMA (Country Music Association) Award for Radio Personality of the Year and has been a finalist for the Country Radio Hall of Fame four times. Prior to his time in Charlotte, Charlie (along with Debbie) spent more than a decade hosting successful morning radio shows in Greenville, SC; Augusta, Ga; and Birmingham, Al. As a content creator for Country 1037, Charlie writes about dream lottery windfalls, sports, restaurants and bars, and travel experiences in North and South Carolina.
