The “Golf Gods” Smile Upon The New US Open Champion

I first posted this story when it occurred back in February. Gary Woodland is a professional golfer who has had a good career, but up until yesterday, not a great one.
Yesterday, he outlasted two-time defending US Open champion, Brooks Koepka to become the winner of the 119th US Open Championship at storied Pebble Beach Golf Links.
What made the difference for Woodland? I believe it was the “Golf Gods” smiling down upon him and repaying him for this kindness he bestowed upon a special needs girl named, Amy Bockerstette, during a practice round at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
It was one of the best, pure moments in sports this year.
And yesterday, Gary Woodland was afforded another.
The Golden Rule is, and always will be, a good one to follow.
