Dominos Pizza Dough Overtakes Louisiana Dumpster
MIAMI, FL - APRIL 14: A Domino's Pizza store April 14, 2004 in Miami, Florida. Domino's Pizza is looking to raise $300 million in the stock market by listing on the New York Stock exchange. The Michigan-based firm already has a London stock market listing for its UK subsidiary. According to media reports, the funds raised may be used to pay off debts. The 44-year-old firm now has 7,400 outlets in more than 50 countries. The firm is reporting that pizza sales are up 5.8% in 2003. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)
Last week, Hurricane Ida ravaged the state of Louisiana. In Covington, the local Dominos Pizza closed in preparation for, and as a result. Anyway, when the employees came back, all of their dough had gone bad so…they tossed it in the dumpster. I mean, that’s where the trash goes, right? Well, dough rises. In this case it rose out the top of the dumpster and has created on big, globby, mess. Nicole Amstutz captured this nastiness on her Facebook page.
I think my favorite part of this is the assertion that “now it’s growing into a giant, unstoppable blob.” Kinda sounds like the plot of a cheap, cheesy, SyFy Channel movie, right?
