Missing Dog Returns Wearing Ribbon She Won From Dog Show
Fur babies are not just pets. They are part of our family. Aside from a pet’s passing, one of the scariest things a pet owner faces is a missing pet. One United Kingdom family feared they may never again see their beloved Beagle Mix, Bonnie, when she went missing recently. However, Peter and Paula Closier couldn’t stop laughing when the five-year-old returned later that day with a pleasant surprise for them. Bonnie had entered a dog show and won a third place ribbon. A passerby on his way to a dog show spotted the lost pup. John Wilmer was running late to the show where he planned to enter his own two dogs. He shared a Facebook post about the missing beagle before heading on to the competition. Wilmer decided to take Bonnie along and enter her in the “Best Rescue Dog” category. And what do you know…Bonnie placed 3rd! The owners saw the Facebook post and connected with the rescuer. Bonnie returned home after the competition to proudly show off her yellow ribbon to Mom and Dad.
