Ramen Noodles Can Cause Heart Problems, Diabetes and Stroke
Take one look at me and you can tell I am a fella that likes noodles. Any kind of pasta really. So I perked up really quickly when I heard this news. Ramen noodles can reportedly cause heart problems, diabetes and stroke.
A new study by Baylor University says that if you eat Ramen noodles more than twice a week it can lead to heart disease, diabetes and stroke. How come? Instant Ramen is reportedly packed with high sodium, MSG and TBHQ.
In the study, Dr Hyun Shin says, “Eating instant noodles more than two times a week can lead to cardiometabolic syndrome, which raises a person’s likelihood of development heart disease and other conditions such as diabetes and stroke.” He goes on to say in the Baylor study, “Eating excessive Ramen can cause changes in a woman’s hormones and metabolism”.
