North Carolina Man Wins Lottery Playing Same Numbers Every Time
This is a strategy that is beyond sound. Wanna win the lottery? Your best chance is playing the same numbers every time. From here on out, I’m calling it the Dr. Josh McConkey method. Seriously, how many times have you played a set of numbers (or in my case quick picks), and then SWEAR a couple of drawings later that the winners were those previous ones?! All the time, right?
Dr. Josh McConkey plays the lottery, but he plays the same numbers every time. Although he won’t reveal the exact ones he plays, Dr. McConkey tells WNCT, “I have numbers that I use with my children’s birthdays and my anniversary and those types of things.”
Now admittedly, it takes patience and commitment to follow this routine. So I guess no surprise it’s a doctor that is able to do it. Apex resident Dr. McConkey purchased his North Carolina Cash 5 ticket using Online Play and matched all 5 balls. He splits the $1.5 million jackpot with another prize winner who bought a winning ticket from the Piggly Wiggly in New Bern.
Speaking of winnings, there are always two things I want to know. First, after every tax collector has their taste, what was the net deposit? In Dr. McConkey’s case, his $747,577 ending up being a more than “I’ll take it” sum of $541, 670.
My other question is always, “So, what are you gonna do with all that money?” Dr. Josh McConkey’s plans for his lottery windfall COULD NOT BE MORE DIFFERENT than mine would be. Dr. McConkey, a physician and Air Force Reservist, has dreams of serving his country in a larger capacity. He’s intending to use the money to help in the financing of his campaign for a seat in the US Congress.
Why not? Playing the same numbers turned out to be a lucky move. Perhaps Dr. Josh McConkey will have equal lucky in the election lottery.
CONGRATS: When Dr. Josh McConkey of Apex buys a lottery ticket, he does not have to think long about the numbers he will play. https://t.co/7JhezxmdZ9
