Cookie Plug Franchise With Ties To Famous Collaborator Opens Soon In Charlotte

Admittedly, I have become a bit cookie obsessed lately.  First, I fell in love with Insomnia Cookies, famous for their warm, late night delivery treats.  Then, I started sampling Crumbl Cookies weekly rotating menu.  But now, I stumbled upon something totally different in a Facebook post I just saw.  And, hold on because a brand new cookie concept, Cookie Plug Charlotte, opens soon!  And, they have ties to a very famous collaborator.

Are you familiar with 'Cookie Plug?'  I wasn't until I saw this post.  Apparently, Cookie Plug is a franchise that began in Anaheim, California in 2019.  And, they're ready to open Cookie Plug Charlotte soon at 3216 South Blvd.  The post reads in part, 'Get ready to be wowed.  Cookie Plug is gearing up to bring you a sweet experience like no other.  Stay tuned for the grand unveiling.'  The cookie concept bills itself as 'the fattest & thiccest.'  And, no, that's not a typo.  Cookie Plug declares 'other cookies are wack, ours smack.'

Furthermore, to add to the grand allure of Cookie Plug, in July of 2023, they announced a collab with franchisee Kevin Davis and LL COOL J.  The hip-hop icon said in a press release, "We're bringing you a flavor experience that's not just about cookies-it's about celebrating the essence of hip-hop culture.  Cookie Plug understands the power of our movement, and together, we're blending outstanding treats with the energy and creativity that defines hip-hop"

So, Cookie Plug is not completely new to North Carolina.  The chain has a location in Greensboro on W. Wendover Ave.  Plus, customers can find them in California, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Puerto Rico.  Cookie Plug brags about how different they are from the ever growing popular Crumbl.  They only started a few years ago and boast around 30 locations with many more on the way.  And, they describe their 'stacks' as part cookie, part cake and part brownie.

And, I must admit the pictures I saw on their website  wowed me.  First of all, they are indeed 'thicc' as they claim.  Just a few of the Cookie Plug offerings include S'mores 'Firecracker' cookie, the 'Pixie Junkie' Sugar Cookie, a Chocolate Chip, 'Bam Bam' Fruity Pebbles, Purple Cookie with White Chocolate Chips, 'Snooperdoodle' Snickerdoodle and so many more!
