Where To Go For Margarita Day And A Spicy Margarita Recipe
We’ve made it through the worst of the winter days, and now it’s time to celebrate national margarita day. So, we thought we’d look into where in Charlotte you can go for margarita day deals. And, we’ll share our favorite recipe for a spicy margarita!
Saturday, February 22, 2025 is national margarita day. And, while we all have our go to spots for the best margaritas, there are some restaurants in the area that are offering special pricing on their margaritas for the day’s celebration. So, I looked to Charlotte on the Cheap for a little help and guidance concerning margarita day deals.
Where To Go For Margarita Day Deals In Charlotte
And, here are a few of their finds. They suggest Angry Ale’s on Montford Drive where customers can get fresh juice Espolon Margaritas regular or frozen for $8. Or, if you’re in Concord, try Fiesta Mexicana Grill on Florence Street where they plan to celebrate with a live DJ and giveaways. And, small house margaritas are just $5.
Next, we move on to Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar with several locations around Charlotte. They’ll celebrate the day with strawberry or lime LocoRita for just $2. National chain Chili’s has $5 Tequila Trifecta and $6 StrawEddy Margarita of the month. And, my favorite is Chuy’s! I love the Texas based chain located on Providence Road at Waverly. Chuy’s will let customers upgrade margaritas to Grande size for $2 and you get a giveaway cup. Or, get $1 floaters and $5 shots of top shelf tequila.
And, I noticed on the Facebook page for Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, they hinted a few days ago that something special was coming in the way of margarita day deals. Also, Adela’s Mexican Kitchen is marking the day with $6 on the rocks medium margaritas in classic lime, blue, pirate, jalapeno, strawberry and mango. They have locations in Lancaster and Waxhaw.

So, those suggestions should get you started. And, of course, although other faves may or may not be offering deeply discounted deals, I have some places I love for a good margarita. RuRu’s Tacos and Tequilas in Charlotte is an excellent spot. And, we’re big fans of Superica both in South End and on Providence Road.
Now, I promised a spicy margarita recipe. We’ve become quite the spicy margarita enthusiasts. Our favorites are at a couple of spots in Myrtle Beach including Crooked Hammock and Big Chill Island House. But, my hubby has taken it upon himself to recreate a fantastic version for home use! So, I included his recipe video below. He uses a spicy tequila, muddled fresh jalapenos and…well…you’ll see it all. Enjoy!
