Full disclosure…Jake Owen has been a friend of the show and of ours off air since his debut. It coincided with our debut here in Charlotte and we hit it off immediately.
As a guy, he’s the kind of dude that I would have been friends with growing up. He’s into sports, music, and girls. In other words, my kinda guy. <g>
So that may prejudice me a little when it comes to his music-I love it all.
As an artist, I’ve always appreciated how he has never shied away from other’s music. He’s played covers both on and off stage-unabashedly-as long as I’ve know him.
Just go to his YouTube channel and get ready to hear some GEMS.
It’s along those lines that this popped up on my Instagram feed this morning.
Too cool. And I can’t wait to see this “collection” released. BTW-his current album, “Greetings From Jake,” (and single, “Homemade”) is UNBELIEAVABLY good!
