Professional Golfer’s Classy Move For Fan He Inadvertently Hurt
One thing that is a universal with professional athletes is they HATE when anything they do during competition that injures a fan. Whatever happens to them? Fine. They signed up for it. It’s part of the game. Fans? All they’ve signed up/paid for is to watch and cheer-not to get hurt. You may not know this, but this happens pretty much every day in a professional golf tournament. A golfer hits a tee shot and some 300 yards away, some unsuspecting fan gets nailed by a ball. MOST of the time, a bruise is all that occurs. Traditionally, the golfer seeks out the fan, signs a golf glove and gives it to their unintended victim. However, last weekend the souvenir for injury was taken to the next level. One of the top golfers in the world, Cam Smith, hit Blake Krassenstein on the thumb while playing the Fedex St. Jude Championship in Memphis. This thumb was also holding an iPhone. The thumb was fine, the iPhone was smashed. Smith gifted the usual signed golf glove, but that’s not all.

Yup, Cam Smith ordered the dude a new iPhone and it was rush delivered. Classy move. Then again, why not? Smith has earned more than $10 million on the course this year. A new iPhone to him was like you and I buying a piece of gum.
