As the weather begins to warm we look to spend more time outdoors. The Whitewater Center in North Carolina is the ideal place for adventure. And, “Tuck Fest” is coming! What is Tuck Fest? According to the U.S. National Whitewater website, the Tuck Fest multi-day festival is all about outdoor activities and live music. The site says the festival takes its name from Tuckaseegee Ford and Trail. And, that’s in reference to the historical trading route running through the property.
So, in addition to live music, demos and vendors the Whitewater Center Tuck Fest hosts competitions too. There’s everything from kayaking, climbing, paddleboarding, trail running and more. And, all the info concerning registration and schedules is on the Whitewater Center site.

The U.S. National Whitewater Center in North Carolina is a beautiful place. I remember going there when it first opened. We did some exciting rafting, ropes courses and the zip line adventure.
