I cannot decide if I find this story more heartwarming or surprising. Look, I can easily understand being able to keep a secret of a new job. I can easily understand being able to keep a secret of an engagement. I can easily understand being able to keep a secret of a pregnancy. THIS woman was able to keep a secret of twins FROM HER MOTHER?!
What?! Every man on the planet is on the floor at this notion. If there is ever a relationship that has zero filter for secrecy it is the one between a mother and daughter, yet this TikTok mom proves us all wrong.
The video begins with a scene like many we’ve all been fortunate to witness. A quiet moment in the hospital. A woman who has given birth is resting in the bed watching her mother hold/rock her new baby. That’s where the fun begins.
A nurse suddenly breaks up this Hallmark moment with a surprise. Specifically, a surprise that’s swaddled and looking for Grandma to hold as well. I cannot believe that this woman was able to keep the fact that she was having twins from her mother!
First off, that’s a savage move-period. You just know she was planning content with this idea (strange that’s where we are these days). I only hope she got the moment she wanted. Grandma’s reaction is one of surprise and sheer joy. That being said, you just know once the video was stopped, there was a serious mother/daughter lecture on the subject of hiding secret twins from Mama, right?
