A Favorite Cookie Shop With Locations In North Carolina Giving Free Cookies To Teachers And Students

I like to say life is about anything you love and cookies, always.  I balance a healthy diet the majority of the time.  But, then I save room for cookies.  And, one of our absolute favorite cookie shops is Insomnia Cookies.  So, I learned by browsing Charlotte on the Cheap that Insomnia Cookies free cookies deal is underway for students, teachers, faculty and staff in high school or college to celebrate back to school.

So, here’s the deal.  Customers need to show photo school ID to get the Insomnia Cookies free cookies.  And, the offer is six free “Classic Cookies” from Insomnia Cookies with a $5 purchase, through August 31.  How great is that?  And, of course, it’s in-store only, one offer per person.  Also, availability may differ from store to store.

And, in case you don’t know what the “Classic Cookies” are at Insomnia Cookies, Charlotte on the Cheap offered up a list.  Some of the classics on the list are Chocolate Chunk, Oatmeal Raisin, and a couple of my total faves Snickerdoodle and White Chocolate Macadamia.  There’s more.  So, you can visit the site for the full list and more about the offer.  It’s also advertised on Insomnia Cookie’s social media platforms, too.

We like to visit the Insomnia Cookies location near our office on Hawkins Street in Charlotte.  But, other stores are near UNC Charlotte on N. Tryon and uptown Charlotte on Trade Street.  And, they have locations in South Carolina,too.  So, we discovered Insomnia Cookies a couple of years ago during one of our Sunday Fun Day brewery hops with friends.  And, their story is quite fascinating.

A couple of college students started Insomnia Cookies in 2003 while attending University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  They began baking cookies from their dorm and taking them to students late at night.  And, that’s the whole idea behind the “Insomnia” moniker and late night delivery.  Which, by the way, I had them delivered.  And, they show up warm!  Ya can’t beat that.  So, trust me, don’t miss the Insomnia Cookies free cookies deal if you qualify!

If I had to choose one simple dessert to enjoy for the rest of my life, I would choose cookies. Although I am not sure what my favorite cookie is, I really love double chocolate chip cookies. I also really love Oreos with milk.

Whatever your cookie preference is, chocolate chip cookies are sweet and salty, sugar cookies are buttery and snickerdoodles are spiced with warm spices. Whether it’s ice cream sandwiches or whoopie pies, cookies are one of America’s favorites. What is the cookie that is loved by Americans across each state?

To determine the most popular cookies in America, Eat This, Not That! looked to Nestlé Toll House, which conducted a nationwide consumer survey. While Kentucky is famous for its Bourbon Spice, Vermont is known for its Maple Pecan. I’m sure you’d like to know which cookie you should choose, based on your state!
