Phenomenally Successful Pizza Food Truck Launching Brick And Mortar In South Carolina
I love a good food truck. In fact, anything eaten or served outside just seems to taste better. I guess that’s why fair food appeals to me. But, at the end of the day the food still needs to be quality. And, that’s the case with this phenomenally successful pizza food truck launching a brick and mortar in South Carolina this year.
And, we’re talking about the delectable wood-fired creations of King of Fire pizza. Perhaps you know the brand from their appearances on the Food Network, Today Show, Ellen DeGeneres, Steve Harvey and Good Morning America. The King of Fire owner and chef, Siler Champion, is a three time World Pizza Champion. And now, Clover, South Carolina welcomes his brick and mortar to 117 N. Main St.
So, I remember years ago one of our loyal radio listeners was always raving in posts about this favorite pizza truck. And, for whatever reason I never seemed to be at the right time or place to try it. But, that all changed last year when I was running errands. It was the Saturday before Father’s Day. And, I went on a hunt to find the perfect bourbon and a device to create a smoked old fashioned. I popped into a liquor store in the Fort Mill/Indian Land, South Carolina area. And, there it was! The elusive King Of Fire Pizza truck I’d been chasing for months.
The truck sat in the parking lot of the liquor store. So, I took the opportunity to grab this pizza I had heard so much about. I noticed they had a handful of options on the menu. And, they were very affordable at just $11 a pie I believe. I adore hot honey. Therefore, I chose the ‘Honey Pie.’ They prepared it while I waited. So, it was fresh and hot with pepperoni and just the right mix of heat and sweet. And, oh my, it was definitely delicious.
So, I can’t wait to visit the new King of Fire brick and mortar when it opens later this year in South Carolina. Read more about the successful pizza food truck launching a brick and mortar on What Now Charlotte.
