Pack Pet Resort in Charlotte is closing
CN

It's often chalked up as a cliche, but it's true.  Your pets are like your children.  For example, when your kids are away from you, you want them to be safe and comfortable.  Same with your pets.  It's a process, but it's such a relief when you find that just right "pet resort" that takes care of your furbabies when you're out of town/on vacation.  The picture above is of our beloved, late cockapoo, "Frisky."  It was taken and sent to us by the automatic cameras in the play area of Pack Pet Resort.  It's located in Indian Trail and took the best care of our pooch.  We had so much peace of mind leaving him there when we were away.  Yesterday, we got news via email that Pack Pet Resort is closing.

With mixed emotions, we regret to inform you that Pack Pet Resort will be closing its doors on September 28, 2023. This decision was not made lightly, and it comes after careful consideration of various factors. We understand that our facility has become a second home for your beloved pets, and it's with a heavy heart that we share this news.

This could not have come as more of a surprise to us.  Now, no reason was given for the closure, but we can't imagine it was financial, based on the fact that it was a real trick to get a reservation at Pack Pet Resort.  Any time, all the time.  The email sent out continued.

While we say goodbye to this chapter, please know that the memories and bonds we've formed will always hold a special place in our hearts. We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you might have during this time of transition.

It's memories like this one.  "Frisky" LOVED staying at Pack Pet Resort.  So, thanks to the owners, John and Lory Kirk for taking such good care of our "boy" and so many others just like him.  Pack Pet Resort will be missed.
