North Carolina City To Get Enormous Indoor Golf And Pickleball Facility
There are two things that work against golf and pickleball: time and convenience. Both of these obstacles are set to be overcome in a HUGE way (literally) with the opening in Raleigh of Pin Point indoor pickleball and golf facility.
Let me explain about the time and convenience issues. I’ll start with time. As an avid golfer, I can tell you that it’s not a “quick” activity. If you’re playing eighteen holes (a full round), you can count on a minimum 3-3 1/2 hours and MOST of the time nearer to 5 (at a public golf course). If you’ve got a family, that’s a tough sell on the weekend. Pin Point will feature eight golf simulators as well as a huge indoor chipping and putting green. So, in other words you can go to Pin Point, work on your game (satisfying your golf jones) and get gone. Oh, and all of it INDOORS. Which brings me to convenience.
As a society, we have become SOOOO “on demand.” We want what we want when we want it. The variable that cannot be overcome with this desire is weather. Both golf and pickleball (for the most part) are outdoor activities. Nothing darkens my mood more on a weekend than having plans to play golf and it either being 35 degrees outside or raining or both. Pickleball devotees have the same issue. Not now. Pin Point indoor pickleball (16 courts) and golf is one hundred percent under the roof. 365 days a year it is sunny and 75 at Pin Point.
Additionally, Pin Point indoor pickleball and golf will feature pro shops for both sports and a bar for a good hang spot after you’re done. One issue, though. How fast, when, and where we can get one of these built in the Charlotte area! Pin Point indoor pickleball and golf is slated to open in Raleigh later on this summer.
