There are some stories that stick with you more than others. I’ll never forget the alert on my phone that rang in the new year. New Year’s Day. One of my favorite days each year. It’s usually spent watching a full slate of football on tv and having a full day of grazing on finger foods and appetizers that my wife whips up in the kitchen. Usually, if it doesn’t have anything to do with those two things, it gets ignored. However, TMZ was reporting that Jeremy Renner was in the fight for his life after being run over by his own snowplow. The fourteen-thousand-pound vehicle did it’s best to crush the actor. Jeremy Renner suffered more than 30 broken bones and sever chest trauma. It should come as no suprise that “Hawkeye” of “The Avengers” survived. Not just survived, but is apparently thriving after just four months?!
Jeremy Renner: The Diane Sawyer Interview — A Story of Terror, Survival and Triumph, will air on ABC a week from tonight (April 6) at 10pm EDT. It will stream the next day on Hulu. This is not to be missed. Another moment I can’t wait to see will come before this interview. Renner is scheduled TO WALK THE RED CARPET for the premier of his new DIsney+ show, Rennervations. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it’s a four-episode endeavor that sees him reimagine purpose-built vehicles, turning a delivery truck into a mobile water treatment facility and a tour bus into a mobile music studio. I am now 100% in awe of Jeremy Renner.
